John P. Scanzio

Scanzio, John P. of Dedham passed away at the VA Hospital in West Roxbury, MA on May 19, 2020. He would have been 92 years old on June 18th. John was the loving husband of the late Marilyn M. Scanzio. He is survived by his daughters Lynne A. Frye of Worcester, MA, Darlene C. Scanzio of Irvine, CA, Karen D. Scanzio of Norwood, MA and Joan L. Briggs and her husband Michael Briggs of Norwood, MA as well as six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his brother Henry Scanzio and the late Agnes Scanzio and his children. John was a meteorologist in the US Air Force in WWII and a talented ballroom dancer. For most of his life he was a portrait photographer and later sold automobiles. Family and friends will be notified of a future public Celebration of Life.
