CONROY, Joseph "Joe" age 94, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran of Foxboro MA,
peacefully passed away surrounded by his devoted wife Bridget and loving family members on April 28th 2022, following a brief illness. Joe "Joe Thaidhg Choilm" was born to his parents Tadhg and Brid Costello in Cor Na Ron, Inverin, Co Galway. Following emigration to the States, Joe served in combat duty in Korea. Upon his safe return, he lived in Norwood, Foxboro, Attleboro, Mattapan, Walpole, South Yarmouth, Manamet, and finally Foxboro. Joe was a retiree of Hollingsworth and Vose in East Walpole, and he was a long-time employee of Penn Central, Conrail, and Amtrak. He had a lifetime love for grandchild babysitting, fishing, lobstering, working outdoors, and the Boston Bruins. Joe is predeceased by: his parents; his sisters Mary Berry and Ann; and his brothers Steve, Coleman, Pat, and Martin. He is survived by his sister Barbara of Allston MA. Loving father of RoseMarie Klimiata and her husband Tom of NH, Joseph and his wife Margaret of Sharon, Timothy of WI, David and his wife Marybeth of Walpole, Paul and his wife Kim of Foxboro, and Michael and his wife Joanna of Annapolis MD. Adoring Dado to Amanda, Joey, Johnny, Simon, Jen, Mary Kate, David Og, Stella, Bridget, Bobby, and Tate. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
