Joseph A. Destito

DESTITO, JOSEPH A. of Norwood passed away on June 26, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Maria A. (Giampa) Destito. Devoted father of Tony J. Destito of Boston, Frank R. Destito and his wife Jeanne of Walpole, Joanne Mace and her husband Curt of Norwood, Lucy M. Finnerty and her husband Peter of Walpole and Joey N. Destito of Walpole. Brother of Rocco Destito, Giovanna Fruci and Anna Destito all of Filadelfia, Italy. Cherished grandfather of Emily, Gina, Madison, Julia, Colin, Mia and Kiera. Son of the late Antonino and Antonina (Stillitani) Destito. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joseph was a member of the Norwood Elks, Norwood KofC and the Norwood Italian Social Club. He was a longtime Brick-Stone Mason working in the Norwood area. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Monday July 2, 2018 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2-6pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood.
