Joseph Thomas Larosa

LaROSA, JOSEPH Thomas of Walpole, formerly of Norwood, passed away suddenly at home on March 4, 2019 at the age of 53. Beloved husband of 17 years to Mary F. (Cutone) LaRosa. Cherished and proud father of his beautiful sons Salvatore Joseph, Joseph Thomas Jr. and Mario Victor all of Walpole. Devoted son of Salvatore and Ann Marie (Mulligan) LaRosa. Loving brother of Karen L. Petrucci and her husband Stephen of Walpole and Thomas J. LaRosa and his partner Stephen of Jamaica Plain. Adored son-in-law of Mary Cutone of Stoneham and the late Mario Cutone Jr.. Treasured uncle to 15 nieces and nephews, favorite brother-in-law to many, a dear cousin and admired businessman. Joe was a 1984 graduate of Norwood High School and a graduate of Roger Williams University. He was a longtime and successful owner of LaRosa Landscape and Construction Co. in Norwood. Joe was the consummate family man thoroughly enjoying every moment he spent with Mary, his boys and his close-knit extended family. Joe loved good food, a well-made martini and welcoming family and friends at grand gatherings in his home. He appreciated a salty tale about the latest politics or juicy news story. Joe was a huge sports fan deriving much joy from watching his sons play soccer and lacrosse and enjoyed all of the hometown favorites with Mary and the boys. The birds in his sanctuary and his fish named, "Joe", will miss his nurturing touch. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood from 4-8pm on Thursday, March 7, 2019. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at the Blessed Sacrament Church 10 Diamond St., Walpole. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joe's name to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave. Somerville, MA 02143
