Joseph P. Nardelli Sr.

NARDELLI, JOSEPH P. Sr. of Norwood formerly of Canton passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth A. (Caruso) Nardelli. Brother of Patricia McCarthy of Canton. Devoted father of Joseph P. Nardelli Jr. and his wife Katherine of Gardner, Mark A. Nardelli and his wife Cheryl of Norwood, Stephen J. Nardelli and his wife Lori of Walpole, David J. Nardelli and his wife Judy of Virginia Beach, and Lisa M. Sibilia and her husband William of Mansfield. Cherished grandfather to 12 grandchildren (Amanda, Joseph, Michael, Mark, Nicholas, John, Jacquelyn, Alexandra, Francesca, David, Brittany, and Brianna), and 9 great grandchildren (Juliana, Sophia, Joshua, Dylan, Alexander, Jackson, Luca, Elizabeth, and Olivia). Joseph was a US Army Veteran. After the military, he spent most of his career at Emerson & Cumming in Canton as a manufacturing manager an also worked part time at Emerson-Swan in Randolph. Joe was passionate about football and was a dedicated Oakland Raiders fan his entire life. He also loved bowling and never missed bowling with friends in his Monday night league. Joe was a member of the Canton Town Club, the Norwood Senior Center and was a devout parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Norwood. At the family's request, the wake will be private. Mass will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:00 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Norwood, all are welcome. Burial will follow the funeral mass at St. Mary's Cemetery, Canton, MA.
