Joseph P. O'Connor Jr.

O’CONNOR, JOSEPH P. Jr. of Norwood formerly of Braintree passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Jean L. (MacKenzie) O’Connor. Devoted father of Casey R. O’Connor of Edgartown, Kelley Dacey and her husband John of Falmouth and Joseph P. O’Connor III of Quincy. Brother of Margaret “Peggy” O’Connor of Canton and Daniel O’Connor of Norwood. Grandfather of Josie of Falmouth. Son of the late Joseph P. O’Connor Sr and Cecelia (Doherty) O’Connor. Joseph is survived by his beloved dogs Buddy and Holly. Also survived by 2 nephews and many cousins. Joe was a longtime Norwood Athletic Youth Coach. He coached little league, youth soccer and St. Catherine of Siena Church CYO Basketball. Joe was a beloved Special Education Coordinator for LABBB at Lexington High School for 34 years. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 4-7pm at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral home service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11am. Burial will be private.
