Joseph M. Parisi

Joseph M. Parisi of Norwood, passed away on October 31, 2024. He was 41 years old.
Born in Meriden, CT and raised in Norwood, Joseph was a graduate of Norwood Senior High School and a proud US Navy Veteran, serving his country in Afghanistan, Iran, and Guam. An avid sports fan of all Boston teams, Joseph also loved nature. He loved being outside, hiking and fishing, with the Cape Cod Canal topping the list of his favorite spots. One of his favorite accomplishments was hiking Mt. Shasta in California with his Navy brothers. He had a great sense of humor and was the occasional jokester. He loved food and was happiest pulling up to a good, hearty Italian meal. Joseph loved his family, his Navy brotherhood, his friends and he especially loved being an uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Joseph was the loving son of Mark Parisi of Norwood and Georgine (Kelley) Butman and her husband Bruce of Greenville, Maine. Loving brother of Angela Parisi Juarez and her husband Issac of Kansas, Amy McDonagh and her husband Noel of Norwood, Amelia Butman of Boston and the late Lucy Butman. Loving uncle of Audrey, Bianca, Carolina, Eion, and Mikey. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Joey's life will be celebrated at 12:00pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 35 Orleans Road Norwood, MA 02062, the home where Joey grew up.
