Judith A. (Abelli) Usevich

USEVICH, JUDITH (Abelli) of Norwood passed away on May 9th at the age of 68 with family members by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife for 37 years of Stephen Usevich. She was the sister of Elaine Troutman and her husband James of Florida, Richard Abelli and his wife Barbara of Billerica, Janice Dibona and her husband Anthony of Maine, Peter Abelli and his partner Susan Sabado of Sandwich, John Abelli of Waltham, and the late Paul Abelli. Sister-in-law of George Usevich and his wife Dianne of Norwood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Marguerite Abelli. Judy was a graduate of Waltham High School Class of 1972 and worked as an administrator at IBM, American Express, State Street and most recently at Del Monte Fresh Produce in Canton, before retiring in 2020. Possessing a strong work ethic her co-workers would always comment on her warm smile, caring personality and genuine concern for people. She left an indelible mark on all those she came in contact with. Judy, along with husband, Steve, enjoyed traveling to Bermuda, Aruba, Saratoga and Biddeford Pool, Maine. Together both enjoyed dining out with family and friends and found great joy visiting with her nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Newton Wellesley Hospital Cancer Center for their kindness and care during her illness. Also appreciation to the Accentcare Hospice professionals who made her feel comfortable during her illness. Visiting hours will be held at the Kraw-Kornack funeral home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, on Sunday, May 15th from 2 to 5 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judy's name to Newton Wellesley Hospital Cancer Center, attention: Development Office, 2014 Washington Street, Newton, Ma 02462.
