Kathleen Poirier was a radiant beacon of love and warmth, a remarkable woman whose laughter and vibrant smile could instantly brighten any room. Her incredible kindness and sharp sense of humor were gifts she shared freely, leaving an unforgettable and indelible mark on everyone blessed to know her.

Throughout her life, Kathleen accomplished much and took great pride in her hard work, finding deep fulfillment in her roles as a waitress and a Personal Care Assistant, among her many other professional endeavors. She was a woman who truly knew how to enjoy life's beautiful moments. Her loved ones take profound comfort in picturing her now, at peace and doing the things that brought her the most joy, playing lively hands of cards and Mahjong with her close girlfriends, engaged in intense games of Scrabble, singing her heart out to Patsy Cline's "Crazy," enjoying a glass of classy wine, fine dining, dancing up a storm, and traveling the world with sandy toes.

To her family, Kathleen was the absolute center of their world. She changed countless lives through the immense, unconditional love she poured into her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her entire extended family. She was the steady anchor who held everyone together, constantly reminding those around her, through both her words and her unwavering actions, that family is everything. She taught her loved ones that the love they share is the ultimate strength, the very force that carries us through life's hardest moments.

Kathleen is survived by her cherished children, Kelly and Johnny; loving siblings, Alice and Jane; her beloved grandchildren, Julie, Danielle, Sean, Jillian, Billy, Jaimie, and Richie; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Cameron, Daisy, Otto, Jax, Sophia, Vivian, Kenai, and Jace.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Quinten, Gail, and May; and by her children, Dawn, Ellen, Walter, and James.

Her legacy lives on through the deep, unbreakable bonds she nurtured. Kathleen's spirit, her boundless joy, and her gentle grace will live on in our hearts forever, guiding us safely until we meet again.

Kathleen’s Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 27, at 10:30 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole.

She will be laid to rest privately.

 A reception will follow the Church service from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM; please contact a family member for further details. In lieu of flowers, it was Kathleen’s heartfelt wish to leave a meaningful legacy for her grandchildren. 

Those wishing to make a memorial contribution may direct donations to her granddaughter and beneficiary, Jillian Barraclough, 87 Gale Road, Charlton, MA 01507, who will ensure the funds are distributed equally among Kathleen’s seven beloved grandchildren.
