Keith D. Chisholm

June 6, 1961 — May 25, 2025

CHISHOLM, Keith D. of Norwood passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 63 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts after a lengthy battle with Leukemia and Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Keith was born on June 6,1961 in Boston, Ma. He was the son of Paul and Eileen Chisholm. He grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts and graduated from Noble & Greenough High School. He attended Furman University in Greenville, S.C., where he had some of his fondest memories and created lifelong friendships. To this day, his family still hears stories of all his adventures during and after graduation with his college friends. They would continue to reunite throughout the years.

After graduation Keith moved back to Boston and where he met his longtime life partner Margaret Duque. They settled together in their home in Norwood, Massachusetts, and lived there till both of their recent passing.

In Keith’s earlier years, he established a painting and wallpapering business. He did that until he was diagnosed with Leukemia and the physical nature became too difficult. He then shifted his focus to working in the restaurant business where he enjoyed meeting many new friends and customers. In recent years he turned his focus to walking dogs. Having always been a dog lover, this was the perfect way to stay busy and enjoy one of his greatest loves. Keith and Margaret had a passion for rescuing and adopting dogs that were deaf and blind.

Keith also had a passion for fastpitch softball. He was an exceptional pitcher and was sought after by many local teams. Over the years he would travel the country with Margaret by his side, participating in tournaments. Keith’s special pitch was a “spitball”which was not sanctioned but was always utilized! No surprise he learned this pitch from his father who was also a legend in the Dedham Softball League.
Keith was a true gentleman, friend to many, great brother, son and uncle. He will be remembered for his kindness to all and his sense of humor.

He was predeceased by his father Paul and Eileen Chisholm as well as his life partner Margaret Duque.
Survivors include his sister Kerri Lovejoy and her husband Michael of Kennebunkport, Me., his brother Todd Chisholm and his wife Karen of Arundel, Me., his former sister-in-law Michelle Chisholm of Franklin, Ma., his nieces & nephews, Caitlyn Chisholm, Jon Chisholm, Tyler Chisholm, and Caroline Chisholm.
