Kenneth A. Cox Sr.

COX, KENNETH A. Sr. of Norwood passed away on November 13, 2023 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Marcia K. (Gallagher) Cox. Devoted father of Kenneth A. Cox Jr. of MS, Brian D. Cox and his wife Donna of Hampton, NH, Jeffrey M. Cox of Newton and Timothy D. Cox and his wife Loretta of Newton. Brother of Sandra Tucker and her husband Scott of CT, Brenda D'Agostino and her husband Rob of CT and the late Marilyn Cox-Akikie and her late husband's Dr. Donald J. Akikie and Michael Marks. Cherished grandfather of Allison, Benjamin, Meredith, Caroline, Christine, Kenneth III, Matthew, Christopher, Melissa, Emily and TJ. Great grandfather of Liam. Son of the late Harry and Kathryn (Malarek) Cox and Florence Cox. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was a 1958 graduate of Norwood High School and then went on to graduate from Bentley College School of Accounting and Finance in 1960. After graduating from Bentley he was employed as an Accountant for Partners Healthcare for many years. Kenneth is also a member of the Norwood Retired Men's Club. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 9am followed by a funeral mass at 10am at St. Timothy Parish, Norwood, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, Yawkey Building #7030 55 Fruit St. Boston, MA 02114.
