Lois Lynn (Montecalvo) Fitzgerald, 81, of Walpole died peacefully September 23 at the Queen Anne Nursing Home in Higham. She was the wife of the late T. Michael Fitzgerald who died in 2010.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, January 18,1944, the daughter of the late Mario and Dorothy (Motta) Montecalvo Lois was a lifelong Walpole resident.
Lois had been the secretary at St. Mary’s Church in East Walpole and later worked at Buck a Book, bookstore.
Lois was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Bruins.
She is survived by her children, Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Veronica of Wareham and Debora Iddings and her husband Thomas of East Bridgewater.
Lois is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, Tyson Iddings and his wife Kimberley, Alisha and her husband Robert Osborn of Maine and Emily Herrera husband Chris of New Hampshire.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Nala, Winter, Caden, Lyla, Timothy, Bethany, Dora, Natalie, Mason, Tegan and Ace.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29 in the Kraw- Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington Street, Norwood at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00-11:0 a.m.
