Lori E. Nutting

Lori E. (Coulombe) Nutting, age 85, of Norwood, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Ellis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Norwood. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Nutting, who passed away on August 26, 2014.
Born on September 29, 1939, in Foxboro, she was one of seven children born to the late Peter Coulombe, Sr. and Bernadette (Gelineau) Coulombe. She was raised in Foxboro and attended Foxboro High School.
Lori worked for many years as a server in various Norwood restaurants. She also spent time employed at New Pond Village in Walpole, where she was a familiar face at the front desk.
In her spare time, Lori enjoyed gardening and going apple and blueberry picking at Ward’s Berry Farm in Sharon. Above all, she was most happy when she was in the presence of and making memories with her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye.
Lori is survived by her cherished daughters: Tammy Horan and her husband John and Terri Dolan and her husband Chris; her grandchildren: Christopher Jr., Andrea, Mallory, and James; her 8 great-grandchildren: her brother: Paul Coulombe; her sisters: Arlene Flagg and Rosita Sabbag; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lori is preceded in passing by her beloved and adored son: Thomas Sakalaukus; her grandson: Patrick Horan; and her siblings: Peter Coulombe Jr., Bernadette Woodward and Lorraine Teague.
Visiting hours will be held on FRIDAY, May 30, 2025, from 4-7pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on SATURDAY, May 31, 2025, at 10:00am in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington Street, Westwood, MA. There will be no procession from the funeral home, please go directly to the church.
Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.
