Louise D. Stapleton, age 93, of Walpole, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Boston Medical Center in Boston. She was the devoted and caring wife to the late Robert Stapleton.

Born on April 2, 1932, in Norwood, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Mazuchelli) Macchi. She was raised and grew up in Norwood, graduating from Norwood High School with the Class of 1950. She pursued further studies by completing her business degree from the former LaSalle Junior College in Newton.

A dedicated homemaker, Louise took pride in providing a safe and comforting home to her family and all who entered her door. She was the heart of her family, always ensuring their happiness and well-being. Known as a "Jane of all trades," she played many roles at home and in her community, serving as a crossing guard for the Town of Walpole and a matron at the Walpole Police Department.

Louise’ had a wide array of hobbies and interests. She was an avid swimmer and enjoyed knitting, solving puzzles, reading, and creating beautiful arts and crafts. Her legacy lives on in the memories shared with countless extended family members and friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

She is survived by her proud and cherished children: Dennis Stapleton and his wife Susan of North Attleboro, and Barbara Sicovs and her husband Roland of Norwood. Louise also leaves behind her treasured granddaughter: Melissa Sicovs and her partner Clinton Finney of Norwood, and her adored great-grandson: James Sicovs of Norwood. She will also be remembered by her many friends and extended family members.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on THURSDAY, October 16, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA.

Louise will be laid to rest with her husband privately at Highland Cemetery, 320 Winter Street, Norwood.
