Lynn Brown

July 27, 1956 — September 18, 2025

Walpole

Lynn P. (Beatty) Brown, of Walpole, MA, passed away on the evening of Thursday, September 18, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 69 years old. Lynn battled stage four cancer for over two years with courage and strength. She left us too soon.

Lynn was the daughter of James F. Beatty and Winona (Talbot) Beatty. She leaves her beloved husband of 46 years, John (Jack) Brown, who was by her side throughout this illness. Lynn was a devoted mother to her three children. She leaves Jason Brown, and his wife, Tina, of Walpole, MA, Kristen Rongone and her husband Al of Burlington, MA, Patrick Brown, and his girlfriend Bailey Slabodnick of Sharon, MA. Lynn was the cherished grandmother of her four grandchildren; Natalie Rose and Teddy Brown, Albie and Joey Rongone. She also leaves her sister, Sue Cullen and her husband Mike, Steven Beatty and his wife Lynn, Jan Cavanaugh and her husband John, and the late James (Tal) Beatty and Diane Beatty. Lynn also leaves her in-laws, Judy and Guy Marzullo, Jimmy and Kathy Brown, Janette and Ed Dever, and Joey and Trisha Brown along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, co-workers, and the family dogs; Buddy, Bailey, and Rocky.

Lynn graduated from Westwood High School in 1974. She went to cosmetology school and became a well-known hair dresser for many years. Lynn also worked for several years at family restaurants; The Mug and Muffin, Bird Park Cafe, Bristol Square Cafe, Stonebridge Cafe, just to name a few. In 2002, Lynn decided on a career change, went to Massasoit Community College, graduated in 2004, and proudly became a medical assistant. She proceeded to work at Harvard Vanguard for over twenty years. Lynn loved her work at OBGYN. She loved her colleagues and patients, and they loved her.

Lynn particularly loved babies, and young children. She enjoyed the chaos of a crowd of kids. Lynn could be found chatting on the phone, cooking delicious meals for her family, and sharing those recipes with family and friends. Some of Lynn’s favorite places to spend happy times included the beach in Marshfield, MA, the cottage on Baboosic Lake in Amherst, NH, and her parent’s condo in Bonita Springs, Florida. Lynn will be remembered for her quick wit, and her ability to make any story hilarious. She was a hoot! Lynn will be sorely missed.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on THURSDAY, September 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA.
