Margaret A. (Folan) Folan

FOLAN, MARGARET A. (Folan) of Norwood passed away on October 3, 2017 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Coleman Folan. Devoted Mother of Bartley Folan and his wife Jessica of N. Attleboro, Mary M. Flaherty and her husband Stephen of Norwood and Bernadette M. Reed and her husband Max of Bridgewater. Sister of Mary Concannon of Norwood and Bridie Costello, Kathleen Clancy and Anne Donohue all of Ireland. Daughter of the late Bartley and Anne (Connolly) Folan. Cherished grandmother of Brady, Jeremy, Joseph, Sean, Alex and Dylan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a long time Nurse's Aide at the Norwood Nursing Home. She was an avid gardener and a frequent traveler to Ireland. The family would like to thank all who helped them with their compassionate care at Norwood Hospital during this difficult time. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Tuesday Oct. 10, 2017 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
