Obituary

KELLEY, MARGARET A. (Ryan) of Wrentham, formerly of Norwood, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late David W. Kelley. Devoted mother of David W. Kelley Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri; Todd P. Kelley and his wife Michelle of Bellingham; and Colleen E. Padden and her husband Christopher of Wrentham. Sister of Jack Ryan of Millis and Jane Wessen of Hingham. Mother-in-law to Stephanie Kelley.Daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret (Grant) Ryan.

Cherished grandmother of Meaghan, Matthew, Katherine, William, Shaun, Christopher, Christian, Isabella, and Connor. Proud great-grandmother of Declan, Gavin, and Colin. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who strongly supported her family and community throughout her life. 

Coming from a proud public service family, she deeply respected military service, first responders, and veterans. She and her late husband David were longtime owners of Lewis' Restaurant & Grill, proudly operating the family business in Norwood for more than fifty years. Margaret was also a retired flight attendant with US Airways. 

Margaret especially cherished time spent with her family and took enormous pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She was especially proud of her four grandchildren currently serving in the military. Her kindness, strength, patriotism, and unwavering support for those she loved will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome to attend committal services on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 2:30 pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA, where Margaret will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, David, a United States Marine Corps Veteran.
