BONVOULOIR, MARGARET M. "Peg" (Keating) of Norwood passed peacefully at home on February 26 surrounded by her family at the age of 90. Born in 1931 to Helen (Murray) and John Keating in Norwood MA. Peg spent a happy childhood in Sharon surrounded by loving siblings, friends, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She graduated Sharon High Class of 1948 and maintained lifelong friendships with her graduating class and loved to reunite with them often. She was proud of her jobs over the years and loved to tell stories about working in the Boston office of Warner Bros Studios. She was especially proud of her time at Polaroid Corp where she spent 25 years. Peg was a two time cancer survivor and made a point to give back to the organizations that supported her such as Relay for Life and Breast Cancer Awareness. She was passionate about helping in her community and was a health counselor for a community elder care service (SHINE) as well as volunteering with Meals on Wheels for many years. She also spent many years volunteering as a poll warden at election time. Peg was unfailingly devoted to her Catholic Faith and her favorite church, St. Catherine of Siena, even learning how to live stream her Sunday masses when she was no longer able to get out. She spent her retirement years with her husband Gerry traveling, volunteering, trying to "win the big one" at Bingo, and doting on their 9 grandchildren. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Gerard Bonvouloir. Loving mother of Amy Gallagher of Norwood, James Bonvouloir and his wife Cecile Morrissette of Litchfield, NH, Mark Bonvouloir of Medway, John Bonvouloir and his wife Christina Clancy of Needham and Kenneth Bonvouloir and wife Ronda D'espinosa of Northfield, VT. Loving "Grammy" to Corey Gallagher, Amanda Gallagher, Peter Gallagher, Joseph Bonvouloir, Elizabeth Bonvouloir, Matthew Bonvouloir, Alec Bonvouloir, Seth Bonvouloir and Layne Bonvouloir. She was predeceased in death by her brother John Keating Jr., Beverly Keating, Ellen Attala and Mary Howe. She is survived by her sister Christine Lombard of Plymouth, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood, MA. At the request of the family a private burial will be at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon, MA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Norwood Council on Aging.
