Margaret M. Murray

MURRAY, Margaret M. (McLellan) of Norton formally of Norwood passed away on June 9, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late George Leo Murray. Devoted mother of Deborah L. Amara and her husband Larry of Norton and George Leo Murray Jr. and his wife Ellen of New York.  Loving sister of Harry McLellan of Franklin, John McLellan of Michigan, Dorothy Trovato of Dedham and the late William Bowman, Hugh McLellan and Anna Carew. Dear friend of Jack Chamberlain. Margaret was the daughter of the late Hugh A. and Dorothy (Bowman) McLellan. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Lawrence Amara and wife Allison, Joseph Amara and wife Jenna, Jason Murray and wife Karen and Michelle Jacobsen and husband Matthew. And her great grandchildren Cally, Dylan, Daniel, Tyler and Kevin. A funeral home service will be held at the Kraw - Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at 10am. Visiting hours will be held on Monday June 12, 2017 from 5-8pm. Burial at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Donations may be made in memory of Margaret to The Jimmy Fund at Dana Faber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston MA 02284.
