Margaret (Walsh) Wood

WOOD, MARGARET (Walsh) of Norwood passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Douglas G. Wood. Devoted mother of Michael H. Wood and his wife Judith of Foxboro and Andrew G. Wood and his wife Eva of Norwood. Sister of the late Gladys Bryan and Florence Gard. Daughter of the late Albert and Esther (MacPherson) Walsh.
Margaret got great joy in spending time with her grandchildren leaving behind Andrew and his wife Janelle of Roslindale; Amanda, Rebecca, Robert, and Rachel all of Norwood; Christopher and Daniel of Braintree; Melissa and Angela of Foxboro as well as three great-grandchildren Ryder, Keira, and Cassidy.
Margaret was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and always looked forward to vacations on Prince Edward Island, where she leaves behind her niece Mary Gardsmith and her husband Dave Smith; grand-nephew Christopher and his wife ILonka as well as their children Lincoln, Michael, Chloe, and Rowan.
Margaret lived a full life, and her independent spirit and love for people kept her working in retail through her mid-80s, where she kept those around her constantly smiling. All who knew Margaret will miss the many stories she shared.
