Marguerite L. (Gormley) Duffy "Midge"

Marguerite L. "Midge" Duffy, of Norwood formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on March 13, 2023 She was 86 years old.


Midge was the dear and devoted wife of the late Thomas J. Duffy. Loving mother of Kathleen A. Bero and her husband G. Lawrence of Newport, RI, Denise McMullen and her husband William of Foxboro, and Thomas J. Duffy Jr. and his husband Michael Karpa of San Francisco, CA. Dear sister of Kathleen Ludka of Plymouth and the late Susanne Maher and Thomas Gormley. Cherished grandmother of G. Lawrence Bero III and his wife Jennifer, Michaela Finn and her husband Nicholas, Kristen Covello and her husband James, and Liam McMullen and his fiancé Caitlin Dolan. Great grandmother of Sophia Covello. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.


Midge's Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, E. Walpole. Visitation from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St. Norwood. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.


In lieu of flowers, contributions in Midge's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of MA 309 Waverley Oaks Rd. Waltham, MA 02452.


Midge will be laid to rest with her beloved Thomas at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
