Marieta (Sager) Michienzie

MICHIENZIE, MARIETA (Sager) of Norwood passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 76. Wife of Joseph A. Michienzie and the late Lawrence Mitchell. Devoted mother of Norbert Mitchell and his life partner Tina Jeghelian of NH, Deborah M. Costello and her husband Thomas B. of Methuen, Diane M. Schaul and her husband Scott T. of Norwood, Dr. Michelle M. Politano and her husband Mark Galante of Hanover and the late Marieta L. Kalfas. Sister of the late Roland and Romy. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Hugo and Liesolette (Rudenberg) Sager. Marieta was a longtime Certified Nursing Asst. at the VA Medical Center until her retirement. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021 from 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. All other services and burial will be private.
