CARLSON, MARLENE R. (Matthei) of Norwood passed away on July 28, 2016 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Wilfred C. Carlson. Devoted mother of Christopher W. Carlson of Norwood and Cynthia J. Drootin and her husband Dennis of Silver Lake, NH. Cherished grandmother of Courtney E. Carlson of Norton, Amanda R. Drootin of NH and Matthew C. Drootin of NH. Loving sister of Beverly Fulton of Goffstown, NH. Aunt of Kimberly J. Fulton of Goffstown, NH and Scott J. Fulton of Laconia, NH. Daughter of the late Bernhard and Evelyn (Byrnes) Matthei. Marlene was a retired secretary for the Town of Norwood Food Services Dept. A funeral home service will be held on Sunday July 31, 2016 5:45pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday July 31, 2016 from 2-6pm. At the request of the family Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168.
