Mary E. (Flynn) Norton

NORTON, MARY E. (Flynn) of Norwood passed away on April 5, 2022 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Gerard W. Norton. Devoted mother of Patrick Joseph Norton of Peabody, Brian Gerard Norton and his wife Janice of Mansfield, Mary Catherine "Kathy" Curley and her husband Paul of Norwood and Christine Marie Gagliard and her husband Kevin of Norwood. Cherished grandmother of Molly, Mae, Sarah, Thomas, Aidan, Will, Patrick, Margaret, Brian, Katelyn Mae and Charlie. Daughter of the late Patrick Joseph and Mary Catherine (Hoey) Flynn DeWitt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of the Norwood Bowling League and the Norwood Irish Social Club. She was a longtime volunteer at Sunrise Asst. Living in Norwood. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Mass General Hospital, Pediatric Hematology Oncology for the Benefit of Children Suffering from Kostmann's Syndrome 55 Fruit St. Boston, MA 02114.
