Mary A. (Moussalli) Owens

OWENS, MARY A. (Moussalli) of Dedham and Sandwich passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 91 after a long illness. Beloved wife of the late Donald G. Owens to whom she was married for 54 years. Mary was a retired bank teller for Shawmut Bank but devoted much of her time to helping others, whether it was working on the St. Anne's bazaar, chaperoning a Camp Fire Girl event, lovingly caring for her grandchildren or rescuing stray cats. Mary was also well known as the family baker and her chocolate chip cake was always in high demand. Mary loved to spend time in Sandwich, especially on Sandy Neck Beach, and also enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and bowling in the couples league. Mary was the devoted and loving mother of Patricia O. MacDonald and her husband Mark of Canton. She was the cherished "Grammy" of Brendan MacDonald and his wife Melissa of PA, Emily MacDonald of Canton and Kelly MacDonald of Canton. Daughter of the late Anthony and Wedad (Bandar) Moussalli. Sister of Evelyn Carroll of W. Roxbury and the late Alfred Moussalli, George Moussalli, Laurice Pagliaro and Yvonne Maloof . Sister-in-law of Carol Harney of Concord. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 9am-10:30am at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. Following the visitation a funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church 90 W. Milton Street Readville, MA 02136 at 11am. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham, MA.
