Mary E. Sorrenti, age 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert Sorrenti, who passed away in 1989.

Born in Boston, Mary was one of four children of the late Robert H. McQueen and Margaret A. (Fairclough) McQueen. She was raised in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School.

Mary was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent her career working in various roles for several companies. No matter the position, she was known for excelling in her work and taking pride in all that she did.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including watching television and reading. She cherished quiet moments and found comfort in her favorite programs and books.

Mary is survived by her beloved siblings: Gerry A. Thistle and her husband Kenneth of North Easton, and Michael G. McQueen of Randolph, along with several extended family members and dear friends.

In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by her brother, Robert W. McQueen.

Mary’s funeral with visitation will be held on TUESDAY, April 21, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., in the Kraw‑Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood.

Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton, where Mary will be laid to rest alongside her late husband.
