Mary P. (Spillane) Friedmann

FRIEDMANN, MARY P. (Spillane) of Norwood passed away on July 31, 2016 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Francis H. Friedmann. Devoted mother of Kathleen F. Mansfield and her husband Gerard R. of Norwood, Paul L. Friedmann and his wife Judy of Lake Helen, FL,  Mary F. Yeates and her husband William of Hollywood, FL and Janice F. Steere and her husband Jonathan of Sharon. Sister of John Spillane and his wife Marie of CA and the late Rev. Walter Spillane, Richard Spillane and Kathleen Spillane. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late John F. and Catherine (Slattery) Spillane. Mary was a 1942 graduate of Roslindale High School.  She was a retired Bookkeeper for Kamweld Products in Norwood, MA working there for 25 years before her retirement in 2001. The Family would like to thank all her caregivers at the Blue Hill's Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton, MA. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA Wednesday Aug. 3, 2016 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday Aug. 2, 2016 from 5-8pm. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery Boston, MA.
