Mary Margaret (Tully) Griffin

GRIFFIN, MARY Margaret (Tully) of Plainville formerly of Norwood passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 2, 2022, at the age of 69. Mary graduated from Norwood High School in 1970. She later met the love of her life, Kenneth Griffin, and they were married August 25, 1974. Together they raised their family in Norwood, where Mary also worked as a medical secretary for most of her career. Mary was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mary had a beautiful smile that lit up a room. Mary enjoyed simple pleasures, like going to dinner with her sisters, caring for and being the best Nana to her grandchildren, and spending time with friends and family.

Beloved wife of 47 years to Kenneth L. Griffin. Devoted mother of Kevin M. Griffin and his wife Jennifer of Sterling, VA and Sarah E. Sansone and her husband Martin of Boerne, TX. Sister of Connie Kulesza of Rhode Island, Susan Benson (Darrell) of Walpole, Martha Roche (James) of Franklin, the late Thomas Peter Tully Jr. Cherished grandmother of Alexander, Olivia, Mackenzie, Ryan and Cameron. Sister-in-law of Alan Griffin (Nancy) of Boxboro. Daughter of the late Thomas P. and Margaret J. (Lyons) Tully. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 4-7pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. At the request of the family anyone attending the wake must wear a mask. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church 547 Washington St. Norwood, MA. Mass may be viewed live at www.stcatherinenorwood.org Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
