Matthew Paul Mcgrath

MCGRATH, Matthew Paul of Norwood passed away peacefully on June 5, 2023 at the age of 77 with his family and friends by his side. He was the beloved husband to Stephanie Sheehy and a loving father to his three children: the late Paul Matthew McGrath, Troy Michael McGrath and his wife Sherrie, daughter Erin Jean Burdick and her husband Brett. He was the cherished grandfather to Ryan Paul McGrath, Tyler and Hannah Burdick, and Madison and Nolan McGrath, and the beloved great-grandfather to Emersyn Rae McGrath. Matthew was the son of the late Matthew Richard and Margaret (McDonald) McGrath, and was predeceased by his five sisters: Jackie, Peggy, Kitty, Ellen, and Donna. A proud Air Force Veteran, Matthew spent his entire career in the car dealership industry as an automotive finance manager. He leaves behind a lifetime of friends who will always see Matthew's Irish eyes smiling back at them whenever they see a four-leaf clover. There will be a Celebration of Life for Matthew on June 17, 2023, at Route 1 Grill house 817 Broadway Saugus, MA from 12 to 2 pm. Friends and family are welcome to join and share a drink, hug, and a good Matt McGrath story.
