SILVA, MATTHEW J. of Norwood passed away on Aug. 21, 2016 at the age of 62. Son of the late Philip F. and Reine A. (Avellar) Silva. Father of Kevin Hamman of SD. Loving brother of Ellen A. Silva of Norwood, Joel S. Silva and his wife Linda of GA and Christopher P. Silva of Roslindale. Grandfather of Kaylee of SD. Uncle of Mark E. Silva of TX and Gregory A. Silva of GA. Matthew was a graduate of Rockland High School and was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for Parkside Place in Cambridge. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Thursday Aug. 25, 2016 at 9am followed by a funeral mass at 10am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday Aug. 24, 2016 from 4-7pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday Aug. 26, 2016 11am at St. Peter the Apostle Cemetery Provincetown, MA.
