WALSH, MATTHEW J. a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away on May 4, 2022 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of the late Lisa J. (Johnson) Walsh. Devoted father of Rachel A. Audley and her husband Patrick of Norwood and Daniel M. Walsh and his partner Melanie Tufo of ME. Brother of Cori W. Loescher of Walpole, Shaune W. Barry of Sandwich, Maura A. Walsh of TX and Mark E. Walsh of Boston. Cherished grandfather "Boppy" of James M. Audley, Ryan P. Audley, and Emma J. Walsh. Son of the late Ronald E. and Denise (LaDucer) Walsh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Matt founded Walcon Construction in 1986 before becoming an employee for the Town of Norwood Building Dept. lastly working as the building commissioner. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Monday, May 9, 2022 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 2-6pm. At the request of the family burial will be private.
