GRASSO, MAUREEN T. (Kane), a lifelong resident of Norwood, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, lovingly surrounded by her children.

Beloved daughter of Margaret M. (McDonnell) Kane of Framingham and the late Francis P. Kane. Devoted mother of Mary Kate Grasso and her fiancé Carl Caddell of Norwood, Robert F. Grasso and his wife Christa of N. Attleboro, and the late Teresa Grasso. Cherished grandmother and “Mom” to her grandson, Gregory Grasso, whom she lovingly raised as her own.

Loving sister of Teresa Kane of Norwood, Barbara Kane of Norwood, Patricia Carleen and her husband Jon of Rhode Island, Brian Kane and his wife Lori of Carlisle, and the late Francis P. Kane Jr. and Christopher Kane. Predeceased by her former husband and the father of her children, Robert P. Grasso.

Above all, Maureen was a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured her family above all else. She had a wonderful sense of humor and could always bring a smile to those around her. She gave so much of herself to the people she loved, and her family will forever cherish the memories they made with her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Maureen was a 1979 graduate of Norwood High School.

A private service will be held at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood, MA 02062, on Friday, August 28th.
