Melissa A Pentowski

PENTOWSKI, MELISSA A. (Libbey) of Plymouth, formerly of Norwood, passed away suddenly on April 8, 2024 at the age of 30. Beloved wife of Christopher J. Pentowski. Cherished daughter of Stephen J. and Mary V. (O’Brien) Libbey of Norwood. Loving sister of Megan E. (Libbey) Vilas-Boas and her husband Felipe of Norwood. Cherished Auntie of Evelyn and Nathan Vilas-Boas, and treasured daughter-in-law of Steve and Marie Pentowski. She also leaves behind her beloved cat Noel. Melissa’s vivacious personality and sense of humor brought joy and laughter to everyone who met her. Her passion for education and self-betterment led her to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s degree from Bridgewater State University, followed by pursuit of LADC and LMHC certifications. Her compassion and drive led to a career helping others with mental illness and substance abuse in many capacities, culminating in her position as a Clinical Director. Her selfless nature was truly unmatched. She will be missed deeply by everyone who had the privilege to know and love her. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062. All other services and burial will be private.
