Merril C. (Pidzewick) Sweeney

SWEENEY, MERRIL C. (Pidzewick) of Norwood passed away surrounded by her family on October 31, 2022 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Robert P. Sweeney. Devoted mother of Robert M. Sweeney of Norwood, Joseph E. Sweeney and his wife Rosemary of TX and Stacey C. Lane and her husband James of Norwood. Sister of Gail Byrne of Southboro and Irene Schillberg of Randolph. Cherished grandmother of Richie Lane, Max Lane, Harry Lane, Joseph Sweeney, John Sweeney, Colin Sweeney, Bridget Sweeney, Taylor Sweeney and RJ Sweeney. Great Grandmother of Luna Merril Lane. Daughter of the late Joseph A. and Marion B. (Walsh) Pidzewick. Merril was very dedicated to her family especially her grandchildren. She was a 1958 graduate of Norwood High School. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062. All other services will be private.
