Michael J. Martin

MARTIN, MICHAEL J. of Wrentham formerly of Norwood passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 69. Son of the late Edward C. and Isabelle F. (Dray) Martin. Devoted father of James Martin and his wife Kelley of NY and Joseph Martin of Norwood. Loving brother of Edward Martin and his wife Loretta of Mansfield, Janet A. Folan of N. Attleboro and Elaine Margarita of Cape Cod. Cherished grandfather of Rylee, Cameron, Madelyn, Nolan, Sean and Brayden. Also survived by his former wife Judi-Ann (Ranalli) Martin of Norwood. Michael was a 1972 graduate of Norwood High School and was a proud member of the 1972 Norwood High School Hockey Bay State league champs. Michael was an original co founder of the Norwood Friends of Hockey program. He attended Boston College and played hockey there. He was a coach for the Norwood High School Hockey Team and was very involved in coaching Norwood Little League baseball. Michael was a friend of Bill W. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 10am at St. Catherine of Siena Church 547 Washington St. Norwood, MA. Burial will follow the funeral mass at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood, MA.
