Michael Robert Morandi

MORANDI, MICHAEL Robert of East Walpole passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Patricia A. (DeCosta) Morandi. Devoted father of Michael R. Morandi and his partner Rick DeChantal of Chicago, IL, Thomas J. Morandi and his fiancée Maureen Sullivan of Sharon and the late Stephen P. Morandi. Brother of the late Virginia Morandi and Ester Galligan. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, Samantha and Rebecca Morandi and Meaghan Carter. Great grandfather of Michael Morandi Jr. Son of the late Michael and Lena (Alfieri) Morandi. Michael was a member of the North Walpole Fish and Game Club. He was also a US Army Korean War Veteran serving from 1953-1955. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. Funeral from the Funeral Home Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church, East Walpole, MA. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 601 Sherman St. Canton, MA 02021.
