Michael F. Poirier

POIRIER, Michael F. of Norwood passed away on June 26, 2019 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Carole Ann (Silvestri) Poirier. Devoted father of Lisa Keohane and her husband Jack of Mansfield and Amy Kern and her husband AJ of Foxboro. Brother of Peter Poirier and his wife Irene and Ed Poirier and his wife Kay all of Norwood. Son of the late Henri and Dagmar (Elkholm) Poirier. Cherished grand father of Ashley Johnston , Sarah Keohane and Travis Kern. Michael was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Michael worked as an Illustrator for the Foxboro Co. And volunteered for many years at the Food Pantry of Norwood. Funeral from the Kraw -Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood on Monday July 1, 2019 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday June 30, 2019 from 2 - 4 pm. Burial with U.S. Army Military Honors will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
