PORAZZO, MICHAEL J. a lifelong resident of Norwood passed away on February 18, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Ann M. (Richardson) Porazzo. Devoted Father of Michael Porazzo and his wife Therese of Norwood and Karleen O'Brien and her husband Martin of Norwood. Brother of Paul Porazzo of Yarmouth, Marie Dima of Norwood, Karleen Karas of Bridgewater and the late Karl Porazzo and Carmen Porazzo Jr. Son of the late Carmen and Annie Agnes (Meyer) Porazzo. Cherished grandfather of Jillian Porazzo, Kathleen Porazzo, Shauna O'Brien, Kerry Arthur, Michael O'Brien, Stephen O'Brien and Katie O'Brien. Michael was a member of the Norwood KofC, VFW and the BAC, Bricklayers Union Local #1 (Cement Mason/Plasterer). Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Wednesday Feb. 21, 2018 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood. US Marine Corps Korean War Veteran.
