MICHAEL FRANCIS "TIKI" URBACH-TEAGUE
Michael Francis "Tiki" Urbach-Teague, aged 74, died peacefully at Sturdy Memorial Hospital on May 1, 2022. His wife and brother were by his side and he was in contact with his children. He was a son of the late Frank and Louise Teague and brother to the late Brian Teague. Michael loved his large extended family, his loving wife, Jane M. Teague-Urbach, his children, son A. Christopher Urbach of Chico, CA, daughter Jennifer R. Weissman and her partner, Ilan. his beloved granddaughter, Aria S. Weissman, brothers Stephen and Robert Teague and Robert's wife, Debbie, his sister, Laura Teague, his Uncle Charlie and Aunt Diane, and numerous cousins, as well as children he helped to raise with their parents, Kathleen and the late David Piper, S. David, Ben and Ruth Piper and their families. Michael Urbach-Teague lived and worked many places in the United States. Born in Norwood Hospital, he was raised in Millis, MA. He and Janie raised their children in Berkeley, Santa Cruz and Chico, CA., where they lived for over 30 years. He was an electrician's helper to his father, then was a wonderful cook and eventually worked for many years for the Chico Area Recreation District, maintaining turf grass and ball parks. In retirement, he and his wife moved to Rentiesville, OK, where he helped to run the Rentiesville Dusk til Dawn Blues Festival every Labor Day Weekend and helped to found the OK Blues Hall of Fame along with blues legend, the late DC Minner and his wife, Selby Minner. He spent the last seven years in Attleboro, MA where he was active in the Attleboro Community Garden, Michael ("Tiki") was much loved for his outgoing, positive and loving ways and he was always there to help anyone in need of guidance or support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 18, 2022 at the Boggestowe Fish and Game Club in Millis, MA at 2 pm - 6 pm. RSVP to
