Monet Bianca Reeves born August 8, 1990 was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She is the mother of Jasmiah Monet Smith (Jazzy), daughter of Michelle (Perry) Elchaak and the late Manuel Reeves. From the age of 2 months old she resided in Norwood, MA until the age of 25 years old. Thereafter, she lived in North Attleboro, Massachusetts until she entered Heaven's gate on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
She was an Early Childhood Educator at Busy Bees Learning Center in North Attleboro. She began her career in early childhood education in high school and went on to earn accreditation in the field. Throughout her life, she continued to advance her career, earning certification as a CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in 2017. In 2021, she made the decision again to advance her career - on the day before her passing Monet took the exam to become a Massachusetts Correctional Officer. Those who she shared the news with basked in her excitement with her as she was confident that she had passed the exam.
Her interests were ever changing but always included: The Bible, reading books, music, baking desserts, watching movies and documentaries, chilling & relaxing with her dearest friends and she loved the beach.
She is survived by her daughter: Jasmiah Monet Smith (Jazzy), her mother; Michelle (Perry) Elchaak, brother; Myles B. Reeves and nephew Aiden A. Reeves. She also leaves to mourn her passing her aunts, uncles, cousins, and godmother. She will be missed dearly by her daughter, mother, brother, nephew and the many extended relatives and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 10:30am -12:00pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Norwood, MA. A funeral service will be held 12:30pm Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Waters Church 668 Walpole St. Norwood, MA 02062. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.
