Nancy (Grava) Fraone

FRAONE, NANCY (Grava) of Norwood passed away surrounded by her family on December 16, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Antonio Fraone. Devoted mother of Gianfranco (John) Fraone and his wife Jennifer of Easton and Maurizio Fraone and his wife Alisa of Wrentham. Adored grandmother of Julia, Joseph, Isabella and Anthony. Also survived by brothers and sisters in Italy and Canada and many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Salvatore and Michela (Miniero) Grava.

Nancy (Annunziata) was born in Maddaloni, Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1977. She worked for many years at Analog Devices in a number of different administrative roles. After raising her sons, Nancy returned to school to earn her high school diploma from Don Bosco High School in Boston, making her family immensely proud. Nancy’s most cherished role was that of “Nonna” - expert advice giver, always encouraging and supportive, and best hugger. She was kind, warm and had an infectious smile. She was loved by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 9:00am-10:30am at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A funeral mass will follow the visitation at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Lustgarden Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation.
