Nicholas J. Saber

SABER (Nicholas) My beloved husband, Nicholas John Saber, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 4th. Nick and I, Jacqueline Howard Saber, were married almost 55 years. He was born Jan. 8, 1935, son of John and Anne Saber from Boston. Nick was the father of Peter Saber, Jeffry Saber, and his wife Valerie. His adored grandchildren Jessica and Nicholas Saber miss him very much, Nick has one brother, Dr. John Saber and wife Carol, and sister-in-law, Carolyn Howard Ferris, along with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. After attending Boy's Latin, Nick entered MIT and graduated at the age of 18. He then received his PHD at the Univ. of Pittsburg. Dr. Nick Saber worked at Mitre Corp. in Bedford for many years and was involved in the development of our country's defense systems. After his retirement, Dr. Saber taught mathematics at Babson College. A private family gathering will be held at Highland Cemetery. A forty day service will take place at St. George Orthodox Church, Norwood next month. Due to the Corona Virus a gathering of all friends and family will be held in the spring in honor of Nicks life.
