Patricia M. (Egan) Decareau

DECAREAU, PATRICIA M. (Egan) of Norwood passed away on December 16, 2021 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence A. Decareau Jr. Devoted mother of Lawrence P. Decareau of Attleboro, Thomas E. Decareau and his wife Khanh of VA, Michele D. Marchildon and her husband Scott of ME and Suzanne Decareau and her husband Carl Statkiewicz of CA. Sister of Jean Egan of Watertown, Edwin Egan of NH, Claire Egan of CA, Thomas Egan of Provincetown and the late Denise Jackson. Cherished grandmother of Greta, Tess, Thomas K, Audrey, Laurel, Melanie, Margot and Samantha. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Patricia will also be missed by her wonderful friends in the community from Balch School, Norwood Junior and Senior HS PTA, her fellow nurses at Norwood Hospital, Wacky Women, swimming, yoga and singing groups. The family would also like to thank Drs. Le, Kolodny and Weinstein for their kindness and care over the years. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Wednesday December 22, 2021 at 10am followed by a funeral mass at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 3-7pm. The family requests all who attend the wake and funeral wear a mask. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
