Patricia "Patty" L. Fucci

FUCCI, Patricia "Patty" L. (Dooley) of Norwood formerly of Craigville, passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 59. Beloved daughter of Marie F. (Powers) Dooley of Norwood and the late Eugene F. Dooley. Devoted mother of Brian Patrick Fucci of Missouri. Loving sister of Colleen M. Brierley and her husband Robert A. Brierley of Norwood, Thomas A. Dooley and his wife Teresa of Norwood, Kathleen P. Quinn and her husband Brian of Norwood and the late Eugene F. Dooley Jr. Great Aunt of Rose, Cecelia and Colin of Foxboro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews some who lovingly call her Godmother. Patty was raised in Norwood where she attended Saint Catherine's School and later graduated from Norwood High School Class of 1982. She attended Mass Bay School of Nursing and also a degree in Science from Mass Bay. She was a long- time employee of Stop and Shop where she found a fulfilling role working within the pharmacy. Patty was a devoted mother and supported her son Brian in all his interests and endeavors. She cheered him on from bleachers and helped him earn many Boy Scout badges. Patty truly loved being outdoors and walking. She was a member of a walking group and formed many dear friends who she met along the beautiful paths of Bird Park in East Walpole. She loved spending time with children, and she had a love of animals especially her small dog, Cocoa. She had the biggest heart and always had time to stop, listen and talk. Patty bravely battled breast cancer for over six years and passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, Tuesday January 3, 2023 at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church 176 Washington St. E. Walpole, MA 02032. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 4-8pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.
