Patricia T. McCready

Patricia T McCready, 89, of Plainville, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 11th.

Patricia was born on July 12, 1936 in Walpole, MA to Pauline and Philip McCready. She grew up in Norwood, MA and later graduated from Norwood High School and Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. She worked as an accountant and bookkeeper at multiple firms for her career earning the trust of her employers for honesty and hard work and dedication.

Patricia moved to Plainville, MA in 1979 and quickly assimilated to her new town. Volunteering for the local council of churches and the local United Way, Patricia made such an impact that she was voted one of Plainville’s 100 most influential residents during the town’s 100 year anniversary.

A lifelong Boston Red Sox fan and former season ticket holder Patricia rarely missed a chance to her home team and was a devoted fan until the very end.

Patricia is survived by a long list of loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Paul McCready and sister Margaret Smith.

A private graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery, where Patricia will be laid to rest with her parents.
