Patricia L. Payne McMahon, age 89, of Westwood, passed away surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of her devoted family on the morning of Thursday, May 28, 2026, at her home.

Born on August 25, 1936, in Boston, Patricia was the daughter of the late John and Lois (Pelletier) McMahon. She was raised and grew up in Fall River and Mission Hill in Roxbury. Patricia graduated from Mission Church High School in Roxbury with the Class of 1955.

A hardworking woman, Patricia worked as a waitress at the famous Paul’s Mall Night Club in Boston for many years and later as a Quality Control Inspector for Pacer Systems.

In her spare time, she enjoyed yoga, yoga retreats, meditation, and sewed clothing when her children were small. She went skydiving at the age of 78. She always expanded her horizons and tried new things, being very adventurous.

Patricia is survived by her proud children: Son John and wife Jhosie Payne, son Leslie and wife Angel Payne, daughter Kerry and husband Joseph Hogan, daughter Whitney Payne. She cared for her children with no help while she worked full time. She was a very strong and dedicated woman.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: James Christie, Richard Estrada, Jessica Payne, Jeziel Payne, Janica Andador, Shannon Hogan, Joseph Hogan, Daniel Hogan, Caitlin Hogan Partridge: five great-grandsons, a niece and nephews.

Patricia is preceded in passing by her parents, and her beloved sisters Barbara McMahon Flaherty and Frances McMahon Mustrillo and brother Donald McMahon. 

 Visiting hours will be held on FRIDAY, June 5, 2026, from 11a.m.-12:00p.m. in the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. 

A Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 12:00p.m. in the funeral home. Patricia will be laid to rest in Holbrook Union Cemetery in Holbrook.
