Patricia C. (Stagnitta) Kossak

KOSSAK, PATRICIA C. (Stagnitta), 87 of Mansfield passed away peacefully on January 2, 2018. Pasqualina Stagnitta was born in New York City, NY on October 21, 1930, second of 3 daughters for Carmelo and Philomena (Mamie) Stagnitta of New York City, NY. Pat was married in December, 1953 to John Kossak of East Boston, MA. Pat and John raised five children in Warwick, Rhode Island, before relocating to Massachusetts in 1990. Pat and John were married for 60 years, before John passed away in 2014. Pat enjoyed bingo with her friends, reading and watching the religious channel on TV. Pat is survived by her sisters Antonina (Nina) Stagnitta of New York City and Maria (Marie) LaPadula of New Jersey, along with her five children, Michael Kossak, Pat Bachand, & John C. Kossak all of Florida, Mary Servello of Kansas and Phyllis Kossak of Massachusetts. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, January 11, at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday January 12 at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street Mansfield, MA. Burial will be at St Mary's Cemetery, Franklin Street, Mansfield, MA.
