Patricia Ann (Weed) Francis

March 15, 1943 — January 28, 2023

Patricia Ann Francis (Weed), 79 of Norwood, MA passed away peacefully on January 28th, 2023. Born in Roslindale on March 15th, 1943 to the late Louis and Mary (Mezzetti) Weed. Patricia was the beloved wife to the late Roy Joseph Francis. She is survived by her loving Partner of 25 years, Dr. William Carrabis.


Patricia grew up in Roslindale and attended Roslindale High School. She was a longtime employee at Colgate- Palmolive as an Account Representative. Pat was an avid cook. She loved entertaining her family and friends and gave so much of herself to everyone she knew and loved. She was also a great shopper and such a generous soul. She would fill the living room with presents for everyone. She was also a generous giver to the lottery game of Keno. She had fond memories of the years spent at York Beach, ME with the entire family. Her endless dedication to her family will be forever remembered. Her family was the greatest gift of all.


She is survived by her beloved children Paul and Christie (Farias) Francis of Mechanicsburg, PA, Susan (Francis) and Joseph Travers of Walpole, and Gregory Francis of Mansfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren who she adored, Matthew, Morgan, Bridgette, Emily, Hailey, Daniel and Anthony. She was the dear sister of Joan Sacco, the late Jan Alphonse, Ronald Weed, the late Richard Weed and the late John Weed. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, February 3rd at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA from 4:00-8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 4th at St. Timothy's Parish, 650 Nichols Street, Norwood, MA at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton, MA.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to HMEA, 1 Wilkins Drive, Plainville MA where checks can be mailed. This meaningful organization teaches, supports and empowers people with developmental disabilities and their families to live meaningful lives of their choice. A world where individual differences are appreciated and celebrated, and where everyone contributes.
