COCHRANE, PAUL ALLEN a resident of Norwood, MA peacefully passed away on April 29, 2026 at the age of 61 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA.
Paul was born in Norwood on July 7, 1964, he was the loving son of the late Janina S. (Jezulewicz) Cochrane and Raymond W. Cochrane. Paul, affectionately known to his family and his friends as Pauly, grew up in Norwood where he lived most of his life with his mother Janina and his brother Michael. He lived in Foxboro, MA for many years where he raised his two daughters; Kristina and Kaitlyn.
Pauly worked at Dedham Nissan as an Auto Technician for 8 years before creating his own construction/remodeling business; Eastwind Construction, LLC. For the past 15 years, he has been his mother and brother's PCA, taking care of both of them and their needs.
Anyone who knows Pauly knows how much he loved to go to the Cape and how Cape Cod held a special place in his heart. He grew up camping at Bourne Scenic Park and in his adult years he became a seasonal camper with his family creating more memories with his daughters. Pauly loved anything that had to do with water-whether it was fishing, his lobster traps, his boat, catching steamers and quahogging. Most importantly, in his latter years, when he got his cancer diagnosis-he became very religious and would watch Sunday Mass with his mother Janina on TV.
Paul was predeceased by his late father Raymond W. Cochrane and his later mother Janina S. (Jezulewicz) Cochrane. Paul is survived by his two older brothers Raymond and Michael. He is the proud father of two beautiful, loving daughters Kristina Cochrane of Foxboro, MA and Kaitlyn Cochrane and her partner Caleb Dyer of Rehoboth, MA and of course, his granddog Maisy.
His daughters, Kristina and Kaitlyn would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Whooley, his team and the Feldberg floor 8 staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Center in Boston, MA for taking such great care of our father. We would also like to thank Care Dimensions Hospice House for all the care and support they gave our father and for still supporting both of us through this tragic time.
Visiting hours will be held on THURSDAY, July 23, 2026 at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Paul's Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood.
Paul will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
