Paul Edward Connor
April 14, 1948 — March 24, 2025
Paul E. Connor of Norwood passed away on March 24, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old.
Born in Boston, Paul grew up in Dorchester and graduated from Dorchester High School. He was a proud US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and went on to work for many years as a union carpenter. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and motorcycles and was an avid fan of all Boston sports teams, especially the Red Sox. Among his favorite pastimes was walking his wheaten terrier, Buddie, at Blue Hills. He also ran the Boston Marathon several times and volunteered for years at the VA Hospital in Boston.
Paul loved to travel and enjoyed annual trips to Lake Winnipesaukee with family, and more recently, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, where he and Geraldine, his wife of 51 years, have met some great friends to add to their list of many. He was a quiet man and a great listener. Family was everything to Paul, and he was happiest surrounded by his loving grandchildren, or in his usual spot as a staple on the Walpole sidelines.
Paul was the dear and devoted husband of Geraldine (Dorion) Connor. Loving father of Jennifer Naughton and her husband Daniel of Walpole, and Jerome Connor and his fiancé Jen Martin of North Attleboro. Cherished grandfather, "Papa," of Drew, Caitlyn, and Layla. Dear brother of Ann Sheedy and her husband James of Milton, Joanne Joyce and her husband Paul of Marshfield, and the late Mary Mann, Jerome Connor, Francis Connor, and Virginia Prout. Loving son of the late Jerome J. and Catherine (Brady) Connor. Dear brother-in-law of Barbara Connor, Helene and Robert Griffin, Barry and Donna Dorion, Daniel and Kathy Dorion, John and Janet Dorion, Maryanne and Paul Rooney, Rosemarie Sterling, Joseph and Laurie Dorion, and Billy Dorion and Trish Mileti. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 3-6 p.m. at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. NORWOOD.
